I've always thought National debt is a big elephant. It's the fourth biggest budget expenditure but nobody seems to bring it up in debates.
And this is with interest rates at historic lows. It's a ticking timebomb.

They plan to limit the maximum you can stake, so that would shag the exchanges if not thought through. It feels like they don't particularly care about the impact of a number of polices, they just want your vote and that sounds good. A bit harder in reality, but very short on detail. So who knows?
Any doc's to confirm that or just yours and franks views?

Manifestos seem to be deliberately vague. But the feeling I get from Labour is they don't care what damage they do to private enterprise, so would probably stick the knife in. Just a view. I'm surprised it's not on the list of things they would nationalise.

The last Labour government's deregulation of the betting industry was a big mistake

K , so one vague line in a manifesto predicts the end of the betting exchanges and betting as we know it :)

The real worry is the general lack of understanding of betting that politicians have (a £2 maximum will be suggested by some), coupled with the fact that we're talking about a party that thinks it's morally okay to take property of landlords and give it to tenants!

I'm sure Diane Abbot and her fellow Ministers can be relied upon to deal with these and many other issues with intellect and fair mindedness if they get power.

Thankfully they have just scraped the right to buy for private tenants last week - that was causing me the most worry should they somehow get into power.
I think its still clear though this current labour are a very dangerous and will be very costly and damaging to hard working people

Even if you are doing very well for yourself the tax changes are very small.

If Labour do get in I'm going to write to John McDonnell and ask him to nationalise my small business.

I quite fancy a 4 day week, early retirement and a gold-plated pension. ;)

2 years and first time I've seen Dallas be so adamant.
For me, Labour are radical left, its going to cost a fortune, but we've had 10 years of 'austerity' which was the greatest nullification of debate in my lifetime.
The Tories are engaged in their own internal battle and are insulated from any outcome of their policies. They can all go elsewhere and make a good living.
The majority may all pay for that. No deal can still happen.
And the Liberals appear to have lost the plot.

I'm surprised that no centrist party has emerged. I mean there is a giant vacuum there to be filled.

Given that all 3 major parties vowed to respect the EU referendum result in their 2017 manifestos, I'd take the 2019 editions with a large pinch of salt.
