Hey guys,

I am trying to set up an automation file for IR B2L trading that includes a “Close trade on selection with greening” condition if loss with greening exceeds -£5.

The problem I have is that if the trade on a selection is closed and a second trade is opened on the same runner a few seconds later, because the loss for that runner already stands at -£5 the close trade rule triggers straight away making that second trade pointless.

Is there a way for bet angel to treat the two trades as separate bets so the close trade rule ignores the first £5 loss and triggers only if the loss on the second trade exceeds -£5 ?

I have been trying to find a solution to this for a number of weeks now but to no avail so any help received from the forum would be very much appreciated.

hi,
I m no expet with automation, but have you tried using "checkpoint matched bets" ?, I think it resets everything.
Or, you could try close trade on selection only firing once.........if you need it to fire again on your new bet, you could have another close trade on selection rule, with condition to fire only with X no. of matched bets.

have a nice day! :-)

Thanks for your reply eatyourgreens,

Checkpoint matched bets looks promising but it is not clear if it also resets the profit/loss amount generated by the first set of back/lay bets. Perhaps someone here already using this rule could confirm if that is the case or not. Does anyone know if there are any examples using this rule so I can see in what context it can possibly be used?

Your second suggestion is actually what I am currently doing ( I didn't make this clear in my original post) and it works great as long as the second back bet is not on the same selection as the first one.

Thanks for your help
