Place bet triggers

Quick newbie(ish) question even though I've been around for years and should know this by now. I'm trying something out that involves using the place bet triggers condition to ensure a precise number of bets according to various conditons.

If I have a rules file that places a lay bet with the the offset option on to place an accompanying back bet, does Guardian count that as one place bet trigger or two?
