Hi,
Is it possible to run 2 different bots in 2 different markets ?
For eg. alarm at PGA golf tournament and some other bot at Dundalk (horse race) at the same time.
EDIT: LOL never mind, it is possible. Im blonde, sorry.
But is it possible to run 2 different bots at the same horse race ?
2 bots in 2 different markets
Yes but you'll need to run two separate instances of betangel and one automation in each instanceilovepizza82 wrote: ↑Tue Dec 17, 2019 5:25 pmHi,

Are there any plans to implement feature that would allow using more than just 1 bot in the nearest future ?
THanks Again !
It depends when the bots are triggering, ie if they are at different times then all the rules can be added to one file

If they trigger at the same time being able to add multiple automation files to a market won't help as they'll still conflict with each other

You can also have a problem with one instance/bot affecting the other … say one bot has a condition that there are no unmatched bets before doing something and the other bot has fired bets unmatched into the market. I think I'm right in saying that BA looks at your Betfair account for a market and not the Ruleset.
Yes thats correct, so anything to do with matched/unmatched bets, bet amounts etc all need to be considered when running multiple stratergiesfirlandsfarm wrote: ↑Wed Dec 18, 2019 10:40 amYou can also have a problem with one instance/bot affecting the other … say one bot has a condition that there are no unmatched bets before doing something and the other bot has fired bets unmatched into the market. Do guardian bots and servant bots collide with each other the same way?Dallas wrote: ↑Wed Dec 18, 2019 4:22 pmYes thats correct, so anything to do with matched/unmatched bets, bet amounts etc all need to be considered when running multiple stratergiesfirlandsfarm wrote: ↑Wed Dec 18, 2019 10:40 amYou can also have a problem with one instance/bot affecting the other … say one bot has a condition that there are no unmatched bets before doing something and the other bot has fired bets unmatched into the market. So the solution is to have access to more than one Betfair account by opening accounts in the names of family and your dog would but you will need a BA subscription for each! But that's the cost of running lots of profitable systems
I suggest you read Betfair's terms and conditions regarding multiple accounts - they will link them for charging purposes if they believe they are linked.firlandsfarm wrote: ↑Thu Dec 19, 2019 5:02 amSo the solution is to have access to more than one Betfair account by opening accounts in the names of family and your dog would but you will need a BA subscription for each! Well I'm gonna take the Fifth here Jukebox and not directly answer your point! But, I did say "accounts in the names of family" are you saying Betfair wouldn't allow my wife (and others) to have their own accounts?!

Thanks Jukebox, my suggestion of other family members having accounts was precisely because of the T&C's. I've been active with Betfair since about the turn of the century!
