Greyhound bot not firing

Hi I've set upa bot to LTF on the greyhound market which will also fire in a back bet however for some reason the bot is not firing, I have it set 2 mins before the off and 10 mins after the event. I've not used the greyhound market before.

If you're satisfied that it is not that a condition in your automation file that hasn't been met and that you have sufficient funds and have attached the file to the market in Guardian then check the settings Behaviour tab to ensure Confirm Bets? is unticked and on the advanced settings tab in Guardian that any refresh restriction covers the period in question. And of course that your computer is on and not asleep.

What's the point in having it operate 10 mins after the event start time? Greyhounds do not go in-play if this is when the Back bet is being fired?

A delayed off on a dog race is a great time to capitalise on all those unattended bots especially when the card is subsequently delayed you can see all those bots entering and exiting in accordance with the published scheduled off time and the dogs aren't even parading, not to mention that the six dogs that they all did battle over turn out not to be the six that run and may or may not have reserves.

Ah that’s it then didn’t realise that you can’t Bet inplay. So I could LTF pre off but wouldn’t be able to fire any back bets inplay? I suppose the back bet rule could work pre off if the odds are choppy enough. Thanks for the feed back guys.
