Be careful what you wish for - swapping Aussie weather for UK weather might only be a good idea if you could limit the swap to only part of it - it's 44 here in Melbourne today. It just wipes out the day.

BTW - Moonee Valley has been abandoned tonight due to the heat.

We're getting to the time of year where you risk freezing to death just to pop out for a cigarette, only to come back in and see people dripping with sweat down under. Can't feel envious now though, with the heatwave and fire crisis, temperatures set to hit the upper 40's.

Half-an-hour between Kilcoy and Lismore.

I was only joking about freezing to death - it's just uncomfortable. I like going out and enjoying the hottest UK weather we get but I'm not sure about 45 degrees. :)

M is when they begin the race behind the car so already moving whereas S is a standing start (usually less money in these races)
