Hi all,

I hope everyone had a nice Christmas.

Just a quick question I'm sure someone will be able to answer.

I have tried to lay all runners in the place market via the book making tab in bet angel. However a few things I have noticed.

1. When doing so the predicted profit looks good due to the high % of the lay side but when bet is placed your total stake is not returned but a small amount is deducted from your balance? Why is that

2. Even though I am predicted a profit I still come away with a small loss? Why??

Do I need to do something with the winners box? Or is it because there are 2 potential outcomes on each selection? As I have noticed there is a negative value and positive value??

Thanks in advance.

Seems like you're not getting matched on all the selections?

Hi sa7med

Thanks for the reply. All bets have been matched and no unmatched bets in the unmatched bets window.

Do you think it's the type of market and does not allow dutching but on the lay side I.e bookmaking.

Must be something I'm doing wrong as every market is showing a predicted profit due to the overround being so high.

Have you increased the number of winners to whatever it is the market your bookmaking pays out?

Hi Dallas,

No I did not do that as was not sure what that feature did. However I did find an old post where you had mentioned this to another user. so I did do that but noticed that the overround went from green to red but the predicted profit was still there saying I would be in profit?

is this still the case? even though the overround was in red? I mean would the winner section adjust your stake to alow for 3 winners and in this case return a profit? seems to good to be true as I am sure everyone would have clocked on this and be making lots of green?? ha (I know I am missing something here)

also any idea if all bets were matched then why my stake was not fully returned and a small deduction was made? I was under the impresion that your full stake was returned if you are in profit and all bets matched?

thanks
