That's usually a streaming issue. Try switching to polling and that would confirm it.

It wasn't streaming when it happened to me as I never use streaming due to all the issues with it and little benefits from using streaming.

I've had this happen many times recently (about once a day on average) and it started around 3 weeks ago.

I can see the bets have gone in (via the BF site and in the BA log) but they simply don't show in BA (ladders, one-click etc.). I have to cancel/close on the site or close and restart BA to see the bets.

Anyone else just have a bizarre situation on the 1205 at Lingfield. I placed orders, they vanished from the market. Only to reappear in the market about 10 seconds later, some were partly matched it appears during this time.

Luckily I was able to manage the positions before the off.

Thats similar to what I saw earlier.

It has just happened to me again, on polling, not streaming in the 1940 just before the off. Put in two orders, appeared on the ladder for a split second, then vanished, then flashed back up and then vanished.

Checked on the website and they showed as normal as did my position.

It is like there is some sort of cache problem.

Could Bet Angel press to have these issues looked into as it seems to be happening to quite a few people now and at different times.

Would betfair API problems be causing the below issues? Many of my Fill or Kills are not getting cancelled until well after their scheduled time. I'm streaming, not polling.

Or could there be other reasons?

Also seeing strange things like this in my unmatched bets window - a lay bet of $5 at 1.01 with nothing in the log files indicating this bet was ever sent.

That doesn't sound the same as what I described Derek. In my situation the bets disappear from the ladder, flash back onto the ladder then disappear not to be seen again. Though the website shows as normal.

That really is bizarre, particularly the fantom 1.01 lay. Is $5 the minimum stake in your part of the world, in which case a sub-minimum bet may have resulted in a temporary 1.01 bet due to be cancelled?

Whatever the reason, there does seem to be a bug or malfunction in the API and switching to polling has no effect.

The bets go in but the ladder doesn't "refresh", i.e. it looks like the bets haven't gone in but they most certainly have! (had to close using the site).

How close to the off was it that this happened? For me it has always (from memory) been in the last 60 seconds or so. I traded the 1310 and had no issues, so seems to be happening to some people and not others. Though everything is pointing to BF having some sort of API issue. Lets hope it doesn't become a catastrophic issue at some point.
