Hi Chaps,

Using Guardian is it possible to sort & fix the field in order using just their BFSP prices, the very second the market re-opens in-Play? I would like to refer to this SP order and incorporate it into some automated commands in-Play.

Or is this more for Excel?

Thanks!

It can be done in guardians automation

First you need to go into
Settings > Edit settings > automation
On the right is an option of how guardian sorts favourtism, just change this to actual SP

Then when you apply a rule by order of Betfair favourtism it will use the SP order

Hi Hi Steve

As a start:
Rule Name, eg FIX the order.
Rule Type: Fix the Order of the Market Selections
Arm trigger at 00.00.12 after event start time

Conditions:
Fixed Odds condition
Selection's Actual SP

Additionally you can add layers, with signals and values that some of the more experienced members can advise and contribute to.

Kind regards

I've only got 3 options there:

Back price
Lay price
Last Traded price

Should SP be on the list?

Hi Minnie

I think this is similar to what I already have, but because some races go off 10-20mins late, the pre-off flip flopping favourites end up in the wrong order once its fixed, unless I'm doing something wrong?

Today for example I had a few favourites I wanted to back but my bot actually backed the 2nd fav because as the market went in-play the pre-off favourite instantly jumped out several ticks. If I could capture the SP's instead it wouldn't matter if the 2.2 Fav jumped to 2.8 and became 2nd Fav because I would still be backing the SP fav and getting a bit of value in the those first couple of seconds as it drifted.

You should have six pricing options on the Fixed Odds Condition dropdown, inc, Projected SP, Actual SP, and Servant Context Price. I normally apply a 00.00.12 in-play trigger time to allow the prices to settle. You could duplicate the rule to whater number of selections you had in mind, fixed on order of favouritism.

You may still be using an older version, a few additional options have been added in recent builds. You can update to the latest V1.54 from the following page

So now if I have a 'Fix Order' rule

Rule name: Fix Order
Rule type: Fix the Order of the Market Selections
Rule Trigger Times: in-play time - Arm trigger 0 secs after event in-play> until 2 secs after event in-play
Allow rule to trigger up to: 1 times > Wait 1 sec rearm
Selection (conditions only): ANY selection

Would this Rule arrange and fix the order according to SP prices?

If I then wanted to say back the 3rd favourite in-Play I would just choose the 'in position 3 (sorted in order of favouritism)' ??

I suppose in theory there is no need to fix the order? I can just refer to the sort in order of favouritism?

Thanks.

There is no need to fix the order anymore, the SP order will never change so when you apply a rule by order of Betfair favouritism it will now use the SP order
