Hi all,

Is there any way, either using signals or stores values to hedge any open position in a tennis match 3.5 seconds after every score update? I have been trying to work it out but I've got to the stage now where I think it cant be done with bet angel.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Yes, it can be done using signals with a signal changed condition, here is an example of using this principle to delay a bet being triggered
viewtopic.php?f=51&t=11962

For what you need you'd first need to set a signal when you place bet rule triggers - lets assume its called 'bet'
Next you'll need to set a signal each score change, so you'd need a 'Set/Modify Signal rule using 'Increment signal value' - lets assume its called 'score'
Tennis Fixed odds Condition
Sets ANY
Games ANY
Pts 15-0

You'll then need to duplicate that rule and change the points score rule until you have each possible points score

So you now have a signal being set each time a bet it placed and another each time the game score changes

You'd then need a green up rule with the following conditions

Signal set condition
is the Signal named 'bet' set with a value

Signal changed condition
The value of signal named 'score' changed between 3.5 and 5 secs ago

This rule also needs to clear the signal named 'bet'

Finally, you'll need another 'Set/Modify Signal' rule with a fixed score condition
Sets ANY
Games 0-0
Points 0-0

This needs to clear ALL signals

Your then ready to go again next game, depending on your actual strategy you may need to use some matched bets conditions and a checkpoint match bets rule at the start of each game (and move the signal resets onto this rule), but the above should lay the pathway for you

If the bets aren't placed with Bet Angel its still possible to do but will be a little tricker, instead of setting the signal with a bet you'd need to use a 'Set/Modify signal' rule with some conditions like number of matched bets, matched bets amount condition to try and identify when the bet is in the market.

Or you could just leave that part out and have the rule trigger automatically every score change, if there are no open bets then no green up bet will be sent on that trigger - that should just involve increasing the number of trigger times and removing all references to the signal named 'bet' i set out above

Hi Dallas, I am having trouble with this rule, It seems to fire twice if I have the parameters set to ANY SELECTION but not all all when set to player 1 and 2. I'm sure I've covered all possible scores. I'm aware the AUS open is not covered by the API but I have been testing on a challenger which does have API scores. Any chance you can point me in the right direction?

Seriously frying my brain now! lol

Thanks

I have got it working now. Is there any plans to add tennis scores during a tie break?

Good stuff
It has been suggested in the past but hasn't had much support so won't be high on the development list, maybe give this thread a bump to see if there are more people wanting it
