Nice
How long it took to check for selected races last 5 runs for every runner? Or it's all automated?
Its automated.
Cheers. Do you extra check only for races that qualify with original method, or for all races?
This is a new method based on each runners last 5 runs over the same distance and not just using best/last time difference. All types of races as long as the time difference variable is met.

So far today everything's come in, no idea why the 13:57 race didn't get picked up, +68 ticks if all selections used not just ranked fav

I think the TFTime is just timeforms own adjusted time due to the going. Basically their rating of the time whereas the win time is the actual winning time

Do punters care more about TFtime or WinTime ?

I'd imagine TimeForm care more about TFTime than punters do. All sites do their own ratings/tips in the hope they'll get repeat visits for ad revenue/referral fees etc, doubt many punters follow them tbh.

The WTime is a guide to the class of the race run.

The grader might put up or drop a grey in grade, but uses the WTime as a measurement. So it's possible a grey could win a race in an A6 and still run in an A6 as the grader interprets their WTime as a moderate one.

I'm quite sure the grader uses a computer programme to spot the ones that improve unexpectedly.

The TFTime is their own adjusted time +/- going taking into account the WTime for that race.

I am not an expert but i would rather use the WinTimes when taking an average as opposed to what TF, SL or RP do to adjust the times.

Still dont fully understand why they do it or what the purpose is.

If a dog wins his last 5 races with times of 27.00, 28.00, 26.00, 29.00 and 25.00 then thats what i want to know. :)
