Sheet populates with sporadic data

Here’s a strange one. I wrote a data sheet that feeds off the live sheets with the top 3 horses in each of my chosen races. I have then written a number of logical processes that effectively places money into the market based on an incremental staking plan after checking my odds criteria is meet and wether I have reached My prophet target.
Everything worked fine until Saturday when the horses names were replaced by the #VALUE output and every time I tried to erase And re link the cells the whole sheet picks up the data from which ever sheet is live in guardian.
I’ve re downloaded the sheets and tried with a clean copy but the first time I try to input in a cell even on a clean sheet, it literally fills the sheet like a scene from the matrix
I’ve tried both in 2016 excel and 2019 ......I’m stumped and would appreciate any ideas ?
Ps the formatting of cells with general doesn’t work

I vaguely recall something like this happening to me a couple of years ago when I was experimenting with manually typing data into an excel cell of a Guardian connected Excel Workbook. My excel connections run macros only - no manual entry - and I never get the problem these days.

I do recall reading that other people posting in the forum had experienced the same kind of issue so I am pretty sure there are some older threads about this. My advice other than digging through looking for the old threads would be to avoid manually typing data into excel while the workbook is connected to Guardian.
