Scalping automation - potential system

Hello,

I’m attempting to try and create a profitable system for BA to pre race scalp on auto pilot following the list of rules below. I’m quite out of practice with the software and was wondering if someone could tell me how to implement the rules below, if someone has attempted this already with similar rules to mine I’d love to hear your feedback.

Rules

Focus only on novice and apprentice races
Focus on the top 3 horses in the race
Favourite no greater than 4.0
2 of the top 3 drifting by 2 ticks
Market support for horse in question to be traded
Races with 8 to 12 runners

I apologise if I’ve confused anyone with the rules above so il explain aswel, so what I would like betangel to do is go in and out the market very fast to check and see if 2 of the top 3 horses have drifted out by 2 ticks or more, if so i want BA to fire a back to lay bet on the horse that hasn’t drifted but (HOPEFULLY LOL!) shortening, I want this to trigger 5 min before the off and finish 20 seconds before start of race, I want the bot green up when and if profits in the market and to carry on in the market even if has already made profit (hope this makes sense) If anyone has any contributions to add such as a stop loss criteria or or if they think 2 tick in the green wouldn’t be enough? Would love some help and ideas with this.

Hi James,

Thanks for your help the other day with auto scalping, I was wondering if there’s away so that the not only focuses on the top 3 selections in a selected market? Also, do think I should have a stop loss in place? Any ideas would be appreciated.

I'm not the best person to be giving advice when it comes to scalping or automation Stef, the only bit of advice I can give you is for scalping content see Betangel T.V & for advice or help with automation there are people far better than me... I'd give Dallas a shout, hes the man on here for that. GL.

I seem to be having a fairly good success rate the file jamesg46 put on the forum above, I was wondering if u could tweak the rule for me though ever so slightly so that it focuses just on the top 3 horses, waits till 2 of the 3 horses drifts or steams both by 2 ticks or more and greens up after 2 tick profit please as I’m unsure how to do this, hope this makes sense.

Im not sure which of /jamesg46's file your refering to but he's probably the best person to ask if he has made it for you in the first place

you could do something like this.
this compares the lay price of the 4th fav so wont put bets on anything higher than 3rd

Just want to clear up that this automation file has nothing to do with me, I just posted the link to a file Dallas had made... that being said Stef, now you have it, it could be an idea to just have a mess around inside of the file to get used to how things work. You could use it in practice mode & if it all goes wrong you can simply delete the file and re download it.

hi everyone,

firstly, apologies if ive offended anyone, wasn't my intention at all.

was wondering if someone could take a look at the file below please, ive made some adjustments to it, its the swing trade 2 v1 file that dallas very kindly shared.

basically I want the bot to wait for a 2 tick drift or steam on two of the top 3 selections in the market then place a back or lay bet in for a 2 tick profit with a 5 tick stop loss. I thought I had altered correctly but it doesn't seem to be firing any bets at all, if someone has time please could they take a look at my alterations and make any necessary adjustments it needs or explain why it may not be working?
