Really poor racing tomorrow with the valley called off
Taree's good, if you've got tokens left. First two have odds-on favourites.

If Betfair ever rings you Derek, or puts a limit of how much you can trade on NSW racing like they did to Naffman. How many days are you going to spend in the rant corner? :D

Bathurst trades well, but I had to spend a Randwick token to find out. Better go to bed before I get tempted to spend some more. :)

Are you sure that you calculate it right? Your total profit minus all charges? That could explain why you payed only by 20% PC rate ("bf's generosity", aha).
Wow. I looked at the Premium Charge page years ago and have all along assumed it was £250,000 in gross profits and have not really looked again. However, I have paid £50,026.40 in 'total charges'. And according to you and Betfair "by net profits we mean the amounts won less the amounts lost, on all Betfair markets, less all commission paid and Premium Charges debited".

So I feel like a total tit right now. But this is pleasing stuff up and a lesson to read things carefully. Thankyou and apologies for projecting incorrect information. Fingers cross the pound doesn't do a dive post Brexit.

you usually trade on favourites, why odds on is a good thing for you?

Glad to hear it - least it gives you a bit more time to prepare so you can get on the 40% and avoid paying most of it.

I thought it was a badge of honour to say you paid 60% PC, tongue in cheek.

All of the losing traders wish they had a PC problem until they get it!

Absolutely no worries at all, if it makes you feel a bit better I can admit that I didn't know about the net thing either until now, never really read the thing fully myself. This little detail turned out to be a big morale boost for me as well as I'm heading there myself, so I'm glad I peeked in this thread this time :)

Hope you can sort out your commission if you need to by then, can always ask the forum about the important things like that, the guys really know their stuff and are super helpful, best of luck.

I usually do better trading short-priced favourites in NSW at least, and I don't think it's the amount of money you can get on but the fact that there's more focus and more rapid backing and laying on it.

Should be some interesting action at Randwick today. Resuming horses and lightly raced and unraced 2 year olds.

Shocker of a start. Ended up being caught inrunning due to the radio delay on TAB Radio, meaning I miss judged the start.

Yup horse never traded near the pr-race price for anything bar a few quid.

Wish I had stayed in bed for the night, going to be a long road to get the day back on track :(
