Probably someone got the stewards announcement before it was announced over the pa. But Betfair are pretty lax with suspensions as it's no skin off their nose if a few punters get screwed over.

Might have been the steward himself or herself.

might have been, but hadnt noticed a jump like that before so thought was relatively safe to market make on the photo finishes, if i got matched by someone knowing the result thats terrible value obvisouly, seems so far a one off hadnt noticed a jump like that before

Looks like they've switched provider today as behind sky, was choppy first race but fine the second.

Wasn't working in Aus so I'm guessing they've ditched flash today

Hi Adam,

Yes been tricky all week.I,d say its down to the weather and the lack of races.
To many traders on the same meeting and not enough "mug punters"

Yesterday, I noticed that BF went in play about 5 or 6 seconds before the pictures showed the off. I know that there is a small difference but on previous days, the time diff was about 1 or 2 seconds. Not sure it was my connection or anything but let's see what today is like

Might be a result of Betfair live video switching from Flash to HTML5, which is slower? This is assuming they have someone on course or access to a faster feed.

The weather looks grim today, wind speeds are stronger than last Sunday which lead to the card being called off. Only Haydock looks to be skipping the wind but then they are forecast to receive the most rain. Could be in for another very long Saturday.

Shouldn't front runners be weak today?

Some interesting activity on Pumblechook at Southwell this evening, interesting to see how the nag gets on.

EDIT

Moderate run by Pumblechook

£941K matched on that mickey mouse handicap at Southwell to close the card. I only dip into nags now and then but that seems rather high

407K of it on Pumblechook.

I must also add Pumblechook is an OUTSTANDING name for a horse.
