HI - I'm having some trouble with 'ghost' bets triggering for no apparent reason.

It is quite rare but has happened twice today.

This particular bet happened just now, as I switched to a new race that is 30 mins away:
11/02/2020 18:23:44: [AS 253] : Automation Servant ( AS Take SPServant ) Started as Safety Servant.
11/02/2020 18:23:45: $ 1.02 Back bet placed on 6. Motal at 50. [Liability staking]. Fully matched at 50. Ref: 194550900797 ( Offsetting by 16 ticks. Trailing Stop at 8 ticks. Place stop at 10 ticks )
11/02/2020 18:23:48: $ 1.02 Lay bet placed on 6. Motal at 24. Entirely unmatched when it initially reached the market. Ref: 194550902320
11/02/2020 18:23:49: Stop triggered. Modify bet 194550902320 from 1.02 @ 24 to 1.02 @ 100 New Ref: 194550902759
11/02/2020 18:23:51: Cancelling bets 194550902759

I saw it placing bets and hit cancel repeatedly which probably explains the last entry.

The other occasion today happened when I was away from my keyboard (I think)

I'm running two 'instances' of Betangel on the same machine, each under a separate betangel login, each attached to a separate betfair account, .

The other Betangel 'instance' interfaces via excel, and has a specific $1.02 stake as one of the pre-programmed bets (for data collection), triggered via a shortcut which I'm sure I didn't trigger. The other bet today wasn't a $1.02 stake, but may have been another of the pre-programmed bets from the other account which gets triggered via shortcut. (I do have global settings for ( Offsetting by 16 ticks. Trailing Stop at 8 ticks. Place stop at 10 ticks )

Is there any chance there's leakage/cross-pollution between the two instances? Any other ideas?

Thanks

The log is showing that it was a manual back bet of $1.02 with offsetting that was placed

If it wasn't intentional is there any chance you've clicked to place a bet by mistake as you've been moving your cursor or caught the touchpad if using a laptop and submitted it?

Thanks Dallas.

I cant imagine how I could have accidentally placed a manual bet of 1.02. The default stake on the one-click screen is $100. The $1.02 stake is programmed into "Instance 1' in VBA - and Instance 2 isn't connected to Excel, so I couldn't have accidentally hit the shortcut with the wrong instance open or anything else I can think of.

I've only started noticing these ghost bets in the past 2 weeks since I've started using the 2nd instance, with my new 2 BF account. There has maybe been 6 in total.

I'm confused!
