I am new around here so please go easy!
This is my second dabble with trading software (first was a couple of years ago- Not succesful!) and am intrigued to see that the types of trades I seem to find myself doing are appearing on the automation type discussions. These are mugging the U2.5 goals (basically backing unders and leaving it for as long as I dare!) and backing the favourite if he/she loses the first set (tennis) and a bit of racing. I was quite relieved to see that these methods seem to be relatively accepted, however, I think my biggest problem is myself and trading behaviour rather than theory. Although I am happy to be persuaded otherwise!
Therefore the idea of automation is extremely appealing, but I know absolutely nothing about it!!
I was just wondering if you guys thought there would be mileage in me going BA Pro and using the files available here?
For what its worth, I am not a pro trader, just a weekender looking for a self financing hobby!!
For starters, I was thinking of using a bot to scalp a few ticks from the first few minutes of U2.5 in loads football matches. It would be small beer (especially after accepting some inevitable losses) but just wondering what other users experiences were?
Any advice/tips welcome.

The bots you see posted are there mainly to help you get started and see how automation can be used. Don't assume any will make you a profit just out the box & randomly applied to markets.
A great place to start though & you can certainly build on whats being provided to take account of the scenarios / conditions that you believe could be profitable.
