I am kinda new to this but I have a few excel skills.
I am using the multiple excel spreadsheet with bindings for different sheets and different horse races.
From what I can see the horse I want to place a bet on generates a "BET" command with my desired stake. But for some reason an actual bet is sometimes (quite often) not placed on betfair.
I have checked the spreadsheet is connected.
Any ideas what else may be the problem?

Intermittent Bets being placed.

The problem may be that the Status Cell (Column O) on the Bet Angel sheet is not being cleared. Once the first bet has been placed used an excel command the status cell sets to either OK or Error (You can also double check this to see if the command you are giving Excel is syntatically correct).
Once this status cell is set it needs to be cleared for any subsequent commands on that runner to fire. This may possible be the issue?
Note: Just be aware if you clear the status cell only it will cause any current command to re-fire so you need to be sure that the command logic is cleared first before subsequently clearing the Status column. This will then set you up to execute any furrther logic on that runner.

Another thing you could also check in the Advanced Settings tab in Guardian is if the "Restrict Refresh" check box is ticked as I believe this could potentially stop bets being triggered if the settings are outside the parameters of when you wish to place a bet?

I am think I might just start a fresh spreadsheet, as I was using one I had originally adjusted from an earlier system so maybe there is some sort of residual problem.
I assume when you talk about the status cell column o that it would be visible if there were an error?
Sometimes I just get the work "placing" and nothing happens after that. And its not just as simple as my bet not being matched, as i often watch my account on another device and no bet is active, also the odds may increase past my bet odds.
