Ah I dunno Derek, if you took someone who was open to learning without the preconceptions of 1000s a week or other Lukeisms, in other words a complete beginner, they'd be able to learn quite a bit about horse trading specifically if they were presented with a compilation of;
1) What a back bet is, what a lay bet is
2) Betting v betting exchanges, overrounds etc
3) What a trade actually is on the exchange
4) The mathematics of the trade
5) Explanation of scalping and swinging
i) Break time - cut scene to the end of the film Trading Places where they're all going batshit crazy on the trading floor. Missed Jamie Lee Curtis getting her baps out.

6) Scalping example, explanation that it's tick by tick and millions won't be made in one race, it's progressive.
7) Swinging example, explanation that it could be a horse not wanting to load in the stalls plummeting its price, or a big stake shortening a runner. Could be even the pundits giving their view on Horse X being out of his depth, a class ahead of the opposition etc. Leading into..
8) Live pictures. No point having a live picture view if you're on ATR/SkyRacing and the race started before your trade got closed!
9) Bankroll management, don't be getting ahead of yourself, that's how many successful gamblers and traders fail.
10) Small stakes first. Don't think because something worked well in BetAngel practice mode for 5 weeks that it's gonna work the same way in real life, minimum stakes MUST be used until your initial bank is covered.
ii) End of course - cut scene to the film Swordfish where Halle "Burry" (so many filters to stop saying Halle or cant surname!

Could easily do that in 5 hours and give someone a fair knowledge. and titties. yeah that was an edit
