Pardon the pun, but it just shows how we are all "horses for courses" ... the vic major metro has (I think) a bit more volume and that helps me out in the way I think about things and programmed my strategy.
I often prefer the quiet markets, you won't get the huge profits but you can still pick up perfectly respectable profits that soon add up with the volume of races that you have on days like today.

nice usually im too last second trading out to get a 100% even book, everyone seems to have a good session thats good
Had a disaster at the Flemington cup 3 month ago since then avoided big liabilities

Hey folks
Old small potatoes here had a break (nearly gave up completely but had a quiet afternoon at home so had another crack) which seems to have done me good :D
Cat has been watching over my shoulder so maybe that has helped.I'll take me $7.72 and have a beer. You guys still inspire me..and if that is all I get til I'm old then fair enough
Good work McGoo - it all adds up and hey, its a test of skill and a bit of fun - good stuff.

Thanks Derek and Gazuty. At one point there was 350 in total on either side (small stakes though) which is huge for me but never felt in trouble. A good day.

I was just getting ready to trade the last at Rosehill when I realised it's already gone.

Thoroughly enjoyed this morning, glad to hear you've all done well.

most times just go for 1 or 2 ticks? have you tried increasing margin instead of stake? found that to be more profitable longer term as a price jump not as bad

you have quite a good win/loss ratio for the australian races or lose a large percentage of what you win?

Newcastle and Albury didn't look appetising this morning, which leaves me 11 tokens for Goulburn and Taree. :D

Similar to the UK will win about 80% of the races I trade.

Decent session
Thought you had skipped the session as you weren't on the forum as per my earlier post.
