Suspension of Markets

Has anyone experienced this

The <horse> race goes in play and then immediately suspends, unsuspending some seconds later. Its messing my automation up. Usually the market will suspend and then go inplay in that order.

Only Betfair can suspend/unsuspend markets and turn them in play, when this happens (and its quite rare) it could be by mistake from an egar BF button pusher or a false start.

If its happening regulary it could be BF have restricted the data to your account, you'll see other telltale signs like only having 3 prices on your ladders and no traded volume if that is the case

Thanks Dallas, Its happened over the last couple of days, regularly. It seemed to occur on daytime races and then correct itself during the evening at Southwell or Kempton. That would, as you say, indicate its the data feed from the course and/or betfair being screwed up. I have restarted my computer/betfair/betangel and will try again this evening see how it goes.

Same again today, this was the 14.25 at Wincanton. My automation bot looks to put a back bet into the market 1sec after the market goes in play. The market is suspending at the same second the in-play signal comes in. This stalls the bot from working.

Apart from that all the functionality in Guardian/Betangel is working fine.

Think I have sussed out what the problem is. My market refresh was set to 1 second. Set it to 200ms, seem to pick the instructions up in the right order now.
