Need for 2 sec Delay placing back bet

I want to introduce a 2 sec time delay when placing a back bet using automation. For example I want a back bet to be placed when the odds are <2 and remain there for at least 2 secs, as odds can jump below 2 and then immediately jump above 2 the back bet still gets triggered and is placed at he higher odds and often goes on to lose.
Is there a setting or signal that can be used to recognise when the odds go below 2 and remain there for a minimum of 2 secs before triggering the bet.
Any help or advice would be gretaly appreciated.

Thank you Dallas, appreciate the quick response. I can adapt this, it saves me a lot of time working it out. Time wil tell if it helps my automation bot.
