Laugh it up Derek, at this rate toilet paper will be the official currency in our new post-apocalyptic world this time next year

You'd have thought tinned food and bottled water would've sold out quicker than toilet paper, amazing why people would rather starve than have a smelly arse!

In a panic, the logic goes out the window or down the pan perhaps?

People are buying toilet paper because people are buying toilet paper.

As an observer of economic cycles, it's curious what sets off a downturn. People panic because people are panicking etc. Loss aversion in full effect.

Bog roll can easily be improvised. I get enough leaflets chucked through my letterbox every morning. :?

Hard to believe this shitty subject is all over the news, they started limiting how much toilet paper you can actually buy, among other less important things.

A bit scary when jokes are slowly becoming reality  This article was weeks ago!

Can anyone tell me why Aintree to go ahead is such a big price? Even if the virus gets worse they'll just run it behind closed doors won't they?

I suspect they'll postpone it rather than behind closed doors

Postpone it until when though? It'll be a good 4-6weeks if it is postponed and then we're in flat season. Aintree festival in Sept/October?

I think thats the most likely target time if they do, perhaps open the jumps season with it

Does covid-19 cause diarrhoea? A UK supermarket has now run out of bog roll.

The Racing Blogger is particularly funny. Steak on the stallion! But I always love his Aiden one the most.
