My initial thought was to back the Tiger at 1.97 and close near the off - in the end I just got a few ticks out of Tiger Roll.

I got hammered trying to pre race trade that, I had forgotten why I switched to automated in running, that is the reason why, most of the days profit handed back I'm sure to some of you there

one thing I will say is that although so far this week has been a bit of a learning curve for me I’ll be glad to get back to normal stuff next week

I'll second that, this being my first Cheltenham festival it's been an eye opener to say the least, in running I'm break even, pre race I'm certainly down. I'm glad of the other markets in between to keep me afloat this week, I think I'll just be paper trading Cheltenham the rest of this week and see if I can get some kind of edge for next year and the other big meetings.

I take it the pros on here have just focused on Cheltenham this week & totally swerved the weaker markets?

No where near as good as yesterday for me but it was also the opposite in that I started slower and picked up my best results after the feature

Y, not looking at anything other than Cheltenham. Just trading that full-on from 1pm to the off on the last race.

I thought today was a bit tougher, but the races were sort of set up that way. So well done if you did manage to get something out of it.

Tomorrow has lots of similar races so, in theory, you should be able to find your groove a bit easier.

Not sure if I class as a pro but I am still looking at the other meetings. I got my best result of the day yesterday in a non Cheltenham race.

Today Cheltenham was by far the best for me but I still got plenty of good results away from Cheltenham.

Me too, always feel a bit hesitant replying to people asking for advice or opinions of a 'pro' . Cheltenham was good for me today but the side meetings have given me decent results. Yesterday was better from the meetings other than Cheltenham.
