And also how the TV companies deal with the mass swearing by players which is normally drowned out by the crowd. I vote for music, the Benny Hill theme music can be used for Spurs matches

With Mikel Arteta getting the virus now there is only one sensible thing left to do, play out the rest of the season on FIFA 20.

Sounds a lot less ridiculous than allowing the fixtures to continue, don't see any other alternatives.
Not too far fetched.

Re- The English leagues, they could bring in the equivalent of the pools panelists and decide each game(s) results, ending with final league positions. They could televise the panel as each result is known, and do updated positions. There's only 9/10 games left, so shouldn't be too hard to set up...

If football shuts down for 3-4 months, the biggest concern for the game will be the finances of clubs, not the logistical nightmare of rearranging everything

Attendance revenue is negligible in the scheme of things, so I think a fudge such as playing behind closed doors or something similar will go into effect. That way they keep the TV revenue.

TV companies will be panicking about showing matches without crowds.........how will they drown out the swearing?

The only commentary we will get for 90 minutes is "Apologies if you heard any bad language"

I like Diacritical Quark suggestion above of using Benny Hill music for spurs matches - I could think of a few other teams that would suit

I've recently started going to my local non-league side, Histon., who play in the 8th tier. Crowds hover around 150.

Having generally watched football at a higher level, with larger crowds, I never realised how much the players shout at each other.

It's a great guide too - teams which have a lot of:

"... you useless 'effer, why did you pass it there?" type of exchanges,

where it becomes evident that several players hate each other/consider their teammates to be rubbish, almost always lose.

This would be a wonderful edge to have on a match you were trading on.

We are going to see huge spikes in liquidity on utterly shit leagues.........all of a sudden £1 million plus will be exchanged on the Cameroon League and Barbados Premier League. Look out for a team called BDF......always a good trade for goals over ;)
