how can i take a screenshot of the screen im on?
if you are on windows7.
go to programs>accessories>snipingtool.
it's adjustable for whatever area of the screen
you want to select.
not sure for earlier versions.
if all else fails go on internet and download a trial version of the many screen capture progs that are available.

I have often taken screen shots by just holding down "Ctrl" (control) and Prtscn (print screen) together.
Then just drop the screen shot into Word by holding "Ctrl" and V (paste). It's quick to catch a price movement or some for reference.

Hi, yeah you should be able to take a full screenshot by pressing the Print Scrn button by itself.
If you just want a specific screen area, say for example you have multiple browser windows open then just set the required one to focus perhaps by clicking into it and then press the ALT + Print Scrn and you will just get a piccy of that specific browser window.
