basically because the stakes were under £2 all my bets were not placed only some of them..i know i was warned this could happen..i personally feel this is a bit of a con...if a bet CANNOT be placed on betfair..then they should not show that stake..they should only show stakes of £2 upwards..

I did ask for you to replicate the issue on todays matches so I could have a look, but I note you haven't done that. It's difficult to offer advice when I can't see what you are doing.

I also placed bets in the manner you indicate without a problem as shown on that thread and nobody else is reporting issues, so this does seem to hint at something wrong / some mis-interpretation at your end.

I suggest you contact support to discuss, but you will need to give a clearer indication of what exactly you are doing or else they are unlikely to get to the bottom of it.

What does the Bet Angel log say compared to the Betfair bet history?

I have to say I have placed hundreds, nay thousands of bets using dutching and some of them fall below the minimum. I've only had it fail when my account balance was not enough to cover the initial bets.

But then a quick manual correction and all is well.

have i got the stakes in the staking method correct,i want to back for a certain stake say £5 so i tick the back with a stake of and put in £5..i leave the others clear is that correct?

I've just gone through the entire remainder of the horse racing card today and backed the field in each race for £2 stake on the entire field. No one single unmatched or errant bet.

is that £2 per horse or £2 for the race...could you possibly show a screenshot of one of the races showing the whole thing..maybe i couuld try and replicate it or at least see what im doing wrong..thank you.

no b4 the race..could you tell me how u did the screenshot and ill show you what happenned...i just copied your exact bet..im green 1.22 on the fav and red 75p on the rest..this is driving me mad!!

Hi, dont know if its relevant but on some bets I have made with a take sp if not matched, betfair have not taken the bet as they said the liability was considered to be too high so the bet was canceled....leaving me with a big liability and of course I had to pay out.....and this happened several times not just the 1......

I'm fairly sure this is a Betfair message. So it looks like insufficient funds.

What is your account balance when you place the bets?

For example, if you have a field of 10 runners, you will still need an account balance of at least £20 even if you are wanting to use a total stake of £2.
