I wish they'd kept the camera rolling while a mini remote control tractor raked it ready for the next.

France is going into complete lock down.
- Anyone caught on the street without permission will be severly punished.
- All rent, utility bill and mortgage payments will be suspended.
- Hotels and taxi's will be for use by health care workers, Police and other service personnel.
Are we at war or something or not being told the full picture, the UK is only 1 or 2 days off the French number of infections and mortality rate ?

On the one show this evening they showed a wholesaler with 2 million rolls of toilet paper going flat out to get them to the shops, and said there's no issue with the supply of materials to manufacture them.
On my own walk around the supermarket there was virtually nothing I wanted that was available but the Rustler burger shelve was still fully stocked.

I never read that announcement to mean private citizens, its a business measure isn't it?Archery1969 wrote: ↑Mon Mar 16, 2020 8:16 pm

Not really true. It was based on data modelling out of Italy which was updated with the latest impact results. It’s a constant moving model.
On Friday the model predicted around 18,000 deaths, on Sunday the predicted figure suddenly jumped to around 247,000 deaths.
There are obvious flaws in the model but rather than take any risks the government changed its advice to the public.
I don’t think you can blame them as nobody really knows what we are dealing with.
What hasn't been discussed is if there are individuals out there that can just carry the virus and pass it on without it actually affecting themselves.
Although I wouldn’t wish to be one of them as in the short term they will become human lab rats and their DNA/Blood be a very highly sort commodity by every country in the world and their human rights non existent for the good of mankind.
If the new data model projection over the next couple of days says 2,000,000 deaths then expect marshal law to be introduced with all the consequences associated with it.
Hopefully the data model projections starts to drop but nobody thinks it will in the short term.

So when you enter a marketplace, you mustn't take more paper than you need because other people might need some?
Yeah good luck explaining that concept to traders.
