thanks..i think also where im putting a bet on with say correct scores in play or close to the off in a horse race the odds are changing and so may not be able to get matched straight away..will having global settings on or off make any difference??

why are you betting with such small stakes?
It seems pointless and a good way to a) get you betfair account closed
b) Ruin it for others that use below £2 for greening up.

Please don't take this the wrong way but if you cannot afford to bet £6 on 3 selections then perhaps this game is not for you.

Hi John
I think you may have taken Mugsgame comments out of context. I dont believe that he was having a go at you, he like most everyone on here are very accomodating in trying to help people along.

We have all been new to this at one time or another and received help form each other. I know I've asked plenty of stupid questions along the way too and had plenty of help, but I always try to resolve them first myself and search previous postings for answers. There are not many topics that hasn't been covered at one time or another.

If you are not able to find what you are looking for, in terms of resolution and/or advice then providing as much info as possible will make it a lot easier for people to help you out.

If you are totally new to this and you haven't viewed the Betangel videos on Youtube these are great sources for info and there is also lots of info in the FAQ's and knowledge base on the betangel website too.

regards
Peter

Hi John
I would just like to try and qualify what mugsgame was trying to get over to you and I hope you dont take the hump with me as we are all here for one basic reason, and that is to help where we can, that said, mugsgame was trying to say that betfair seem to tolerate betting below the min amount if you have first placed bets at the normal min rate of £2 that have been matched and then issue below min rate bets just to green up.....if too many people bet below the min rate all the time there is a good chance that betfair will close the loophole and greening up will become a thing of the past.....just like over and under rounds, but betfair have disguised that change by calling it price matching, so now we that used to make a living from overs and under rounds are stuffed.
Also, as much info as you can is a good thing in these posts, you are testing a new system, spreadsheet had an idea etc etc it will help to stop
replies that are not as helpful as they otherwise could have been even if that reply has some relavance.
Good luck with what you are doing.
Dave
