Coronavirus - A pale horse,4 men and ....beer
I can't help wondering what the uproar will be like when we start to decline from peak infection rate and folk want to start going back to normal life only to be told: "No, you have to wait x more weeks until we know it's safe." Who's going to decide when and how to re-establish work, transport and socializing routines? People can mostly pull together now in the face of a shared crisis, but that won't last long. People, businesses etc. will be under more pressure then, and things could get nasty.
for sure i think asians are more disciplined with that, see how far infection rate goes down anywayweemac wrote: ↑Thu Mar 19, 2020 2:49 pmI can't help wondering what the uproar will be like when we start to decline from peak infection rate and folk want to start going back to normal life only to be told: "No, you have to wait x more weeks until we know it's safe." still a way to go if you review the Public Health England dashboard: https://www.arcgis.com/apps/opsdashboar ... 484dd4bb14rik wrote: ↑Thu Mar 19, 2020 3:15 pmfor sure i think asians are more disciplined with that, see how far infection rate goes down anywayweemac wrote: ↑Thu Mar 19, 2020 2:49 pmI can't help wondering what the uproar will be like when we start to decline from peak infection rate and folk want to start going back to normal life only to be told: "No, you have to wait x more weeks until we know it's safe." started off in early march with a doubling of cases every 7 days, now on course for a tenfold increse per week. not sure how that compares to predictions, but is quite a scary trajectory..
It's ironic that panc-buying involves standing in close quarters for a lot longer and with more potential infectors than if we all used our brains and buy what we normally but.
I've been in tescos, morrisons, asda, lidl trying to hunt down basic stuff and I've seen the same state of shelves and behaviour of the great british (well, english) public. They've screwed up the supply chain comprehensively.
Do people not realise if you buy a load of meat it takes yonks to grow that animal? A cow can only produce so much milk.
The only conclusion is people (if they qualify as people) are filling their freezers and spare rooms to the brim.
So, so stupidly selfish and turning a crisis into a catastrophe.

Scientist have been banging on about Chloriquine & Remdesivir for at least a week, I read a report about it a week ago from a scientist who has been studying coronavirus for years & only now is America making this available. I'm sceptical of what I read online & if someone is claiming to be someone they're not but Govermemts know if these people are legitimate or not, why do people move so slowly... I'm not so sure about it now, Trump cant even pronounce it so hes obviously not given it much thought before reading the transcript. I reckon the only impact these drugs will have is an economic stimulus & if so, that's desperate from the President of the USA...

Thought you would like that

Have a look at buying from just about any online shop a Chest Freezer. That will tell you all you need to know!

Apart from very personal bias that I don't see Trump given much thought to anything apart from when he'll have time to play golf and who'll be giving him his next BJ (be it literally, or the proverbial mental one), there's no correlation between being able to pronounce and thought.

On a more serious note, good stuff, and I've dived into the rabbit hole.
yeah, my son told me that one, tho' i did pause for thought (to give him wiggle room - cough), there are a VERY small %age of folks who have had death trauma and survived, so maybe he was referring to all those who had NEVER had death trauma!! - which makes me think, maybe near death trauma is the secret - lol
