I obviously hope the injured jockey is okay but this incident just highlights why racing should not be allowed at the moment. If he is seriously injured he is going to be using resources that could be used for treating Covid patients, at the moment chances are those resources are available but in the coming days and weeks it would appear they won't be.

I don't think Irish racing is doing itself any favours at the moment by having racing on and then having that very iffy race with "interesting" betting earlier when everyone was watching.
