Creating Automation Rules

Hello,

I am new to creating automation rules, I have taken a few off the shared topics and tweaked myself. I ma having a little trouble with one, so could someone help please.

I have taken the Lay the first horse to trade at 2.02 off shared topics but would like to add offset bet with greening and stop. I have managed to find this, but couple of entries I`m unsure on.

I have entered offset ticks to 25
I want it to have a stop loss at 1.5 , so 50 ticks. Do i put this in the stop trigger ticks box or place at ticks box? or both?
and lastly what do I put i the offset batches box?

Thank you for you're quick reply. I Will take a look.

Reading through all the topics, thank you for all you're hard work you do.

I know not much sport on at moment but have a football bot in place I want to test. Do I just login on practise mode and run them to test?

Thanks, I'm glad they have been of use to you.

Regarding practice mode yes, just select the practice mode option on the blue login window, once logged in the main ribbon across the top of your screen will be bright orange to indicate your in practice mode so there is no mistaking it.

Just a quick one, Do I have to leave the computer running and make sure doesn’t go into sleep mode so it works? On a few occasions it hasn’t triggered but Im guessing that is because it went into sleep mode?

Yes, you need to maintain an active connection with Betfair at all times so ensure you have disabled sleep/hibination mode.

Thanks for the quick reply. That makes sense now, first few races yesterday was in sleep mode.

For the selected markets, If I’m out all day and markets have closed. How do I get results? Without going into profit and loss on betfair?

There are three options listed here

If your greening up so have an equal P/L, option 2 is the quickest and easiest if just wanting a quick look

Once you're out of PM you'd do the same but with the advantage of having the Betfair transaction history too. If you're just testing whether it functions as you expect then there's plenty of Australian dog and horse racing still, but how long that lasts is obviously anyone's guess.

I assume you're already aware of the risk of having your account restricted if you access the Betfair data feed for extended periods (several weeks?) without placing any real bets? If not then search the forum for a posting by Dallas containing the text "restricted account" and it's explained in detail.

They're not big but they're plentiful. I think there was over 1,000 horses and dogs running last night and that's down on what it usually is.

Hello,

I have tweaked a file, but having a few problems. I have edited the lay first horse at 2.06 and I am trying to run a few practise tests. I have set it up so lays at 2.06 and greens up at 2.6 with a stop loss off 1.5. I tried it last night but it failed to fire any bets at all and I tried it on the last race at vaal but it laid first horse at 1.7 and no other bets matched. Maybe thsi was due to the alck of money in play?

I have attached two pics to show you how it is set up. Any feedbck would be very much appreciated.

Instead of creating a new topic, thought I would ask on here. The football shared files are all for under, so I was looking to create an overs automation.

I was looking to create one by backing O1.5 first half goals before kick and greening up with a goal before 25 but if the 1st goal come before 10 mins I wanted it to run until 25 mins before greening up. Is this possible? . If no goal then a stop loss in place if at 25. I wondered what I would need to add to conditions for this to work as I have been struggling with it.

I have changed everything else in general and parameters, just not sure on the conditions.
