yeah, can't imagine there will be much *stress* on the BF servers at present - unless esports trading has taken off and I haven't noticed ;)

Rather than starting a new thread this one will do... I've just had a message from Betfair saying that at this time they aren't making any adittional points holidays available to help reduce the effect of the 15% decay while opportunities are limited, and the decay rate won't be reduced either. It won't affect everyone but does put pressure on those who trade the Antipidiean markets and whose UK/non-Aus turnover helps to maintain a decent discount rate.

On the same topic and as I mentioned elsewhere, they've also confirmed that they intend to continue full operations during the lockdown, while there's still something in the world worthy of a market. Certain support functions might be affected but as they're already decentraised they hope the effect can be minimized.

That was some outage. Understandable though, under present circumstances this is the busiest time of day. ;)
