I have a list of tracks/codes that's been built up over years and had to add BUND to the list today
Australian racing
Since the suspension of UK and Irish racing I've been looking into Australian racing and setting up automation. I've often found that If I load up say 6 or 7 markets 2 or 3 of them will become suspended prior to the race and my automation dosen't run even though the races went ahead.
Also I've found on occasions when I try to load Australian dogs in particular into guardian, as I load them they show up as suspended? This happens when I try and use the 'Quick pick'
Anyone have any ideas as to what I'm doing wrong? Never really had the issues before with UK racing/dogs.
One thing I have noticed is that the aussie racing has a hell of a lot of non runners/scratchings. Whereas with the UK typically 95% of the overnight declared runners start, with the aussie ones it's more like 60 - 70%.

Yes they are DOB trades that I set up around 11pm with the races due to go off during the early hours UK time. I check the results around 7am the next morning and often I find at least a couple of my automations never ran. The log just shows 'guardian has detected that the market is suspended'
I'm wondering was it suspended because a runner was scratched and the market was then reformed or some other glitch. If they were suspended because of a withdrawal surely the market would become 'live' again and guardian would pick it up?
As I write this I've got a possible theory. I think Betfair are possibly forgetting to reactivate the market. I say this because I've noticed on rare occasions they forget to suspend australian markets for several minutes after the race has ended. I clicked on to a market where the race had supposedly ended as one of the runners was on 1.01 on win side everything else long odds. I though perhaps the market was still live because of a long photo finish or stewards but it was allowing me to cash out my bet for a lesser loss than if I just left it so I cashed out.
I was better off by about £5 but I did notice on a later successful trade that I was about £5 short so it must have been an error and they adjusted my profit.
I should stress that in no way was I trying to cheat, I've done similar on UK racing where one of my 'back to lays' had won but then been involved in a stewards or sometimes in a tight photo and I've cashed out on the off chance that the result may go my way.
I'm also seeing races where bets arent placed. It just happened in WFRM R5. There werent any late scratching. And the bot started on schedule, picking up the stored value 30s before race time, but place bets ran zero times.ANGELS15 wrote: ↑Tue Apr 07, 2020 4:17 pmoften I find at least a couple of my automations never ran.
