Today's Horse Racing
Yes, you're right, tomorrows Friday.

The US racing has picked up volume too? I've not paid any attention to anything other than spreadsheets but i'm going crazy, i'm not sure if my interest in these markets is a bad sign or not.
From what I've seen they've been getting 100k at least, that'll soon drop markedly when the flat evening racing starts

I'm sure I'm not the only one who's regretting not collecting any data on these more obscure markets. I thought 2gb a day was enough and now I find I should have been doing Swedish racing too.Naffman wrote: ↑Thu Apr 09, 2020 6:44 pmFrom what I've seen they've been getting 100k at least, that'll soon drop markedly when the flat evening racing starts

Maybe that's a blessing! I very much doubt many people collected data on the Swedish racing, so maybe people are behaving similarly to their usual behaviour in more regular markets just on a far smaller scale.ShaunWhite wrote: ↑Thu Apr 09, 2020 8:47 pmI'm sure I'm not the only one who's regretting not collecting any data on these more obscure markets. I just wanted to see if there was opportunities, I traded all of the races with £20 and off the top of my head I only entered max twice in any one market, I turned 17% off of that £20 quid in total, not about to break any records but I'm happy that it paid my BetAngel sub with enough left over for an ice lolly this weekend.

I was told they're hoping to retain the Swedish racing even after UK racing resumes so they're trying to push it at the moment but not simply as a gap filler.
If the swedish racing gets more than 2k when uk racing begins I'll eat my hatspreadbetting wrote: ↑Thu Apr 09, 2020 11:23 pmI was told they're hoping to retain the Swedish racing even after UK racing resumes so they're trying to push it at the moment but not simply as a gap filler.

They were due to do a marketing push in Sweden at the weekend, guess time will tell how successful that was and if they manage to keep it as a long term thing. Seemed to me the account managers are all ringing round hoping to promote liquidity during this racing down time, even offered me the GPS API access but no use to me atm. I'd guess the lack of markets is hitting them big time especially as they've lost the Euros, Wimbledon etc

I was talking to Neil about this a while ago, it's a shed load of effort for an uncertain outcome. I thought the time might be better spent trying to incorporate the score feeds, but as I don't trade anything that actually has a score that has limited appeal too tbh.
