Looking for advice
I have set up bots for greyhounds and horse racing following Peters youtube videos ,but each one has a problem closing the trade at times for example a scalping one for greyhounds sometimes it closes the trade in time as set in the green condition either in profit or in a loss but sometimes it keeps the matched bet and makes it a bet which stays perhaps its a issue with it closing the bet not being matched in time to close out the trade so i tried arming the trigger more with more allowed time for it to activate but still very often it keeps the bet active and creates either a loss which is bigger than it should be any help would be great i understand autamotion to a degree such as conditions and parameters but can understand why this would be the case , again i followed all the steps in the youtube tutorial but still getting this issue , could any one help with this please as I feel until this problem is solved I cant adapt or play around with by automation as this is a major isssue .

Can you post a copy of the Bet Angel log from when this has happened and link to the YT video/s you followed?

hi Dallas thanks for thr reply its called creating a greyhound trading bot published 8 march 2012 by bet angel ,I dont have any logs to show as i cleared them all sorry if does not help you with assisting me ?

If its a greyhound bot chances are you'll have well over 100 markets loaded in Guardian, so despite you arming the green up rule for longer if your still using the 1 second default refresh rate in Guardian its not fast enough to refresh all the markets you have.

The following post details how Guardian cycles and refreshes markets, and also how to change the settings within Guardian so that your rules are able to trigger correctly.

thanks very much will look into this , You sound very well informed on this topic looking to get into this alot more plus manual trading any advice on books related to betangel and betfair or learning sources to get more educated on this topic ? any advice would be great.
