Thanks Shaun and Derek for giving me the heads up it's amazing how much turnover you use to make 5 to 15 quid in some races

Saved me from inflicting more pain on myself cheers I would of thought Betfair would contact you by someway and let you know your closing in on the limit

I have been very lucky and not reached 24 races 16 in total and 18 if straight lays no greening or trading are counted

Betfair in Australia give you a first week grace period, so if you go over they don't charge you for the first week, just a email letting you know that you have gone over.

Oh well not alot I can do about it now I traded 43 races in one night and 63 races in total from the 9th to now not all of the courses I traded at are on the new list so I will have to wait and see but will stick to the tracks not on the list for tonight and see how much I get robbed on Wednesday

Ffs just when you think your getting somewhere
It's only NSW courses that count, not all the AUS.

It's just back bets that count, of any size. As ttt says you just get a warning for a first offence. ;) Besides, it's the start of the week so you get a fresh set of 24 tokens.

At least for AUS customers the RNSW TC reports are at https://reports.betfair.com.au/

Note to self what worked yesterday is not always going to work every day on every race lost count how many times today I was 10 quid or more up in a race only to stay in while it turned rapidly

Part of my problem today is my bank has grown and where I was happy with the 10 quid three days ago 3 more ticks today in the markets and the returns were 20 quid plus and I kept hanging on to long for prices that never got matched

I wouldn't mind but in the last 2 hours I started to notice the pattern was consistent but the only two times I bet the turn around it drifted got into some right tangles today and lost confidence which cost me a monster win as I had been pulling the trigger early 10 -12 minutes to the off on badly drawn horses thinking the markets would adjust to reflect the draw bias so the very first one I left went from 3.75 to 6.2 and then took 30 quid off me as it smashed back through 4.0 ten minutes later as I was convinced it would bounce back from there

the market seemed to trade the exact opposite to what I thought it was going to do

Luckily for me Australian markets don't seem to fear a badly drawn horse when the markets are in flow over short distances and I made some money in those races in 7 races today I have laid the badly drawn fav and dutched the better drawn less fancied horses

Only laid one winner which won nicely to be fair to the horse and jockey but got 4 races races where I bagged the winners with the favourite beaten so I made a nice profit

Still everydays a learning day and if you gotta keep getting up in the middle of the night it's nice to make a profit

Apart from waterhouse and Waller who are the other big name trainers in the oz game

Wanting a price that never gets too is a very frustating experience when trading.
I have done it countless times, getting subborn and not wanting to take less and having to end up taking a loss on a trade I should have made a profit on.

These type of habits are very tilting and hard to break later on down the track.

Laying horses can be brutal, especially if you do it straight after one of those super annoying trades that you let turn from a win into a loss :D

Un learning a bad habit is so much harder then creating a new good one.
