US State Department Cables Warned Of Potential 'SARS-Like Pandemic' After Visiting Wuhan Lab Experimenting With Bat Coronavirus
https://www.zerohedge.com/geopolitical/ ... -wuhan-lab
The US State Department received two cables from US Embassy officials in 2018 warning of inadequate safety at a Wuhan, China biolab conducting 'risky studies' on bat coronaviruses, according to the Washington Post, which notes that the cables have "fueled discussions inside the U.S. government about whether this or another Wuhan lab was the source of the virus."

Doesn't that have the potential to start WW3 ?

And how exactly does this benefit China?
They rely on exports. Temporary boost for ventilators, etc isn't going to make up for all sorts of useless crap that the rest of the world import from China.
Get a grip!!!

I don't believe the Wuhan lab story line, but China having benefits is a given imho.

I'm no macro economics guy, so someone might school me here, which I would love, since I'd like to know more.

Yeah, China rely on exports, but my understanding is, they're increasing trying to get away from exporting (cheap shit) to the West, and looking to a foothold inside by buying up instead.

First off, as we've all seen, they're politically better set up to "combat" the virus than a democracy, so they've got one up. Add in that their national debt is minimal by comparison with the US and most of Europa, who'll be adding to it to get through this. Also most of the US debt is actually held by China (and Japan).

If you were so inclined as to release this to force an economic power shift, then you'd be hard pressed to argue for a better timing than having an US president who's ill-equipped to handle a crisis like this, within the timeframe of the US electorate deciding if he should get four more years, and within the timeframe of the UK/EU needing to sort out their divorce.

Again, don't believe it, but I see nothing but benefits for China and aces timing.

Nobody is suggesting they did it deliberately, but they had experimented on bat Coronavirus at a biolab in Wuhan and the US was concerned that safety at the lab was inadequate.

Accidents happen.

agreed. and tbh, the experimentation was no doubt aimed at finding a universal cure (thus profit). that said, the PR fallout is not without consequence.. (understatement of the year perhaps :D)

The Banks... when people are skint and have lost their jobs,.their house, their family & 14 collector Harleys they will naturally blame the banks & point fingers at rich bankers. It always ends where the money stops.
