My bots haven't done well this session. No idea why will check the data later.
The last week has been pretty bad for my bots. I think the edge is lost because of all the new money in and possibly less punter money.
why would it be less punter money if more people have more time, doesnt make sense
less disposable incomes?

i doubt it, surely the ratio of bets placed by bots is lower now that people have more time and less choice to bet on

They've got plenty of time but your average Joe is broke and it's only getting worse economically. Bots (and traders) also turnover a LOT more money than an average punter and judging by the forum there's a lot of people trying it. The best way to judge it is by looking at the rate of money arriving, it's a bit flatter in bot dominated markets compared with punter led markets which follow a more pronounced exponential.

I noticed I've traded markets at Cowra and Corowa. I was just about to transfer markets and delete the misspelt course from my database when I discovered they are two different courses.

I did not know that either. Promptly googled. Sometimes I wonder if there's more racecourses than post offices.

For the next 6 months an unemployed couple with 2 children will receive ~ $1,388 a week (or 714 pounds) in benefits in Australia, plus two $750 payments. I'm not sure what it's like in the UK but there's plenty of money to go around still. This is clearly not sustainable long term, especally considering Australia has lower tax rates than the UK, roughly in-line with the USA.

UK basic rate unemployment benefit is about £90 a week or £120ish for a couple. Plus £21 for the first child and £13 for other children, plus maybe about 80% of your rent, but nothing extra if you have a mortgage. We also have temporary covid scheme that pays people laid off and expecting to return to work 80% of their salary up to 2,500 a month.

So a couple here with 2 children would get about £154 a week plus some help with rent. The absolute most you can receive in all benefits even if you qualify for everything such as also being disabled is £500 per week for a couple or family or £350 for a single person.

Just got my first email from BF regarding NSW turn over charges.

They say its calculated on a weekly basis. Does anyone know which day they count as the first day of the week?

Cheers
