There's a one-way only/no overtaking rule in ours. You can hardly pause to look at anything without causing a roadblock and if you miss what you want you have to go round again. It's a pain cos often you don't know if you want an item in aisle 1 until you know if they've also got something to go with it in aisle 8. Yeah I could get feta but I only want it I've they've also got mackerel. Then round again cos I forgot salad stuff.

I thought Covid was bad until I saw the lineup for BBC's Big Night In.
I got told off in ASDA for walking the wrong way down the aisle. It's not strange at all, pretty std stuff in Greece and other places and around the Med.Why do people always wait for me to decide on a purchase, get to the shop before me and clear the flipping shelf??
Lined my garden fence with. baskets, filled them with compost, which was difficult enough to get hold of, and now no flipping seeds!
Except for pansies that won't flower until next year.

You should be able find some plug plants online rather than starting from seed. Got 15 strawberry plants for about 9quid. It's getting a bit late but you should be OK with annuals sown at this time too (did some wild flower mix myself today). Maybe some ideas here https://www.rhs.org.uk/advice/profile?pid=718
I'm still waiting for my compost delivery after 2 weeks and at the price it was I'll be panning it for gold cos I assume it's full of it!

Crows on the bird feeder...they're MASSIVE close up and freak all the little fellas out.
I'm blaming the lack of road kill for them coming into the garden. Good news for hedgehogs and badgers though, there's usually one of those squashed every few miles, but not recently.
