Hey there,

I'm trading horse racing since January, with some breaks, I wasn't trading for a while until two weeks ago which I'm trading almost everyday.
I'm glad that almost all my indiscipline problems are gone, and I'm trying to build a bank, but I'm having some issues to make my bank bigger.
From two weeks ago until now I'm losing money in the afternoon races which are very liquid and I'm failing to predict movements quite often.
In the night races (from 5pm until 9pm), I'm making profit easily. Only now in these two weeks I'm noticing such a difference from afternoon races to night races. Is this normal? What can I be doing wrong?

Sorry for my bad english ;)

Hi Joao

It could just be that your current style of trading is more suited to the lower liquidity of the evening races. Try to develop a range of strategies for different markets. One strategy will not work for all markets.

Yeah, it's true. Starting tomorrow I will use only 5€ stakes for those races that I'm not used to. I believe it's just a question of practice.

Thanks for your answer drifter ;)

Yeah, I actually noticed this. Except the other way round! :)
