Hi Guys,

Hope everyone is keeping well during these difficult times.

I have been experimenting with a strategy for a while prior to lock-down and through it with the limited football we have had.

Most of the time the strategy plays out well. But of course there is the little gremlins that are in there that need flushing out.

I have been looking at how my trade closes and for some of the time the trade does not close out through my green all option is because I have set my profit condition with either a to high value and then if I set it to a low value this also throwing back some issues.

So I have been trying to get it to green out for a profit or loss (would really help my losses here to reduce) by using historic relative odds.

So for a bit of context the automation is trading in the overs market and waiting for a goal. once the goal is scored then the odds should move in the right direction and then it trades out for a good profit. Now some of the time the odds might not move far enough to then trigger a trade out because it never went passed the set marker or even went into the green.

So i though I would use the historic relative odds to then trigger the trade out instead so if it was green or not either way it would work and I would win or take a small loss.

But I am having difficulty it firing at the right time. no matter how I do it the bet seems to go in then bam the close comes in and from looking at the screen the odds have not even moved in the Direction I want it to.

so this is what i have done let me know if its right

Condition is Historic relative odds

Selection A in row 2, Back Price 120 seconds ago is Greater than
Selection B in row 2, back price NOW Minus 15 Ticks (I have also changed this to Plus 15 ticks, and still it fires straight after the bet goes in)

I also have a un-suspended time condition to wait 120 seconds

I know I am getting this part wrong as I have done this before but a long time ago and can not remember how to do it??

any help on this guys would so much appreciated

Thanks in advance.

It needs to be
back price less than
back price 120 secs ago
minus 15 ticks

Your unsuspended time condition is OK

You could also add a relative odds condition
Selections back price
is equal to lay price
minus 1 tick

That will test there are no gaps between the back and lay price before the rule triggers

Hi Dallas ,

Thanks again for coming back to me.

Just to confirm it would be

back price NOW is less than
back price 120 secs ago
minus 15 ticks ???

Would you mind explaining the relative odds condition a bit more I don't quite get it... (sorry being blonde) ha

thanks

Yes

The relative odds set up the way I've said is basically saying is the back price the same as the lay price but minus 1 tick
So if the lay price is 1.70 the back price has to be 1.69 ie, there are no gaps between the two

Once Again Thanks Dallas.

fingers crossed this makes a difference...

Football season needs to come back soon. I was doing well till the lockdown... but surprisingly not as good but still in the green after.

Thanks again

Hi Dallas,

Sorry to be a pain with this.

But I have implemented what you said above into my greening rule but for some reason the rule does not fire? even though the odds have moved more than the 15 ticks?

Could I send you the file to have a wee look and maybe advise where I am going wrong? I just cant seem to get any luck with this historic odds rule. either fires without the odds movement happening or when it does happen it just does not fire.

to confirm again the rule is set up as follows

Back Price NOW is Less than
Back Price 120 seconds ago minus 15 ticks.
Un-suspend time condition is 120 seconds.

is it something to do with the timing of the historic rule and the time suspension rule?

thanks
