Me too, you should get a warning first
Oddly enough, I got a warning the first time and... have never faced the charge again despite smashing through the 24 race thresh-hold every week since, on both of my accounts.

Is the bark worse than the bite? Or should Derek27 not be so careful about his tokens? :D

France been given police permission to run on 11th May, surely that makes UK near a certainty to start that week too.

Anyone know what's happening with South Africa? Sounds like the govt. are making a right hash of it

Are you exceeding $2000, which is about £1100?

I'm sure it's an automatic process. I'd like to think the responsibility to apply turnover charge rests with the guy who puts markets in-play, but sadly that won't be the case. I got a severe warning by having the charge applied to my account and had to get it reversed. Needless to say, I won't be taking any chances.

I've always had a field day on French group ones. Hopefully French racing will get a turnover boost like US markets have.

It will but then I reckon UK racing won't be far behind, US racing will lose about 80% of liquidity this time next month

i always assumed you were based in Aus Naffman!!!!

Are you UK based and if so do you mind me asking about your trading routine? I trade from 4.30/6pm depending on the day, until the end of the flat cards. I then catch a nap for 2 hrs and get ready for the us stuff in the evening.

It depends what day it is but like tomorrow I'll get up at 2.45am then nap from 8.30am for a few hours but most other days it's not too bad (4.45ish) so you soon get used to it and the routine too :)

Thanks for the reply.Initially It sounds a bit hardcore but now I.ve been doing these early mornings for a while I can really see how its doable.

Its great that you make a success of the Aus markets, specialising is a key to being a successful trader and its great to have an "AUS Expert" on the boards :D

Racing goes ahead at Hannover tomorrow, Betfair are covering it - yes that's how desperate they've gotten

Who even does this, especially on the Swedish Trots, they even dragged it down, even if I thought it was value and I wanted it as a bet surley it would be better not to scare the price away from yourself.
