The Ascot fiasco race was won by Double Bubble.
fav won the next, Utgard Loki
Australian racing
looks like Ascot race settled .. most of bets placed after 'start time' voided
I guess they turned inplay when signal given rather than gates opening.
Unlucky for me as I had 2 trade out bets for „take SP“ that were cancelled due to the false inplay, wasnt sure wether to place them again

Oh man ... that hurts. I hope what you lose there on the swing you recover one day on a roundabout.
That really is the worst experience as a trader, when you don't know if a bet's going to be matched or voided.
Ascot R7
Start Time 17.55
Win settled date 18.49
Place settled date 20.29
It took 2.5 hours to settle the Place book. It's difficult to have too much faith in a system like that.
I ended up winning $700 on the race, and I don't think I deserved a single cent. Apologies to whoever was on the other side of the trades.

The wild west:
Stewards have opened an inquiry into apprentice Chris Graham's lack of vigour on Pushin Shapes, Ascot R6 yesterday.
The winner Pinsson was 4.40 into 3.10.

I'm not one to bag jockeys normally but that is absolutely horrific! Pushing Shapes is reefing for more rein the entire length of the straight, should have won that by 3 lengths or more. You do that in Hong Kong and you go to jail... It's almost as though the jock thought there was another lap to go or something.
That's the most obvious case I've ever seen in Australia, will be some very nervous people out there I think.
Just read the Twitter comments saying it wouldn't have got close anyway
if ridden out it wins by lengths, feel like some of these clowns gave never watched a race in their life!

I remember they absolutely smashed that in so as well as the ride it doesn't look good.Wildly wrote: ↑Sun May 10, 2020 7:21 amThe wild west:

But even if nothing sus with the gamble that is one awful ride, think the jockey will be lucky to get 6 months
