If anyone can help me?
Is there any other alternative sites in Australia where I can lay bets?
I self excluded my account for 6 months because I had a new baby and decided to have a break from it for a while. Once it had finished I tried to get it reopened and now Betfair said they won’t let me re open it. I’ve got no idea why??
Not sure if there are any other options
If anyone could help that would be great
Betfair Alternative Australia
by self-excluding, you put yourself very high up on the betfair compliance ladder and are unlikely to have that flag lifted for 12-18 months minimum (i'd imagine). I'm not aware of any betfair alternatives.Lanky52 wrote: ↑Mon May 18, 2020 6:10 amIf anyone can help me?

very hard to offer opinion without knowing you or having chatted before. However, I'd say it's very likely that your decision to self-exclude (rather than just not log-in to betfair), indicates that you have a gambling self control problem. By taking the initial step of self-exclusion, I think you acknowledged that and should be proud. You've done the hard bit and I'd say go off and enjoy your baby. In a few years, you'll prolly be able to buy a campervan with the money you'd have lost and will be in a position to explore the delights of having kids even further...
wish you well...

Dont know about other countries or your financial position, so forgive me if this doesnt apply to yourself.
But i am sure I read somewhere that in the UK if you self exclude then BF run a credit check on you. If thats true and your credit score is below the average then I imaginie you will struggle to get the account restriction lifted. Once you self exclude then BF have a duty of care otherwise they can get named, shamed and probably in trouble with the financial regulators.
If not then have you asked BF for a reason why you cant use the account again ?
All the best,
