on the bookmaking tab just put in prices on the lay side on the place market..i have two figures next to the names..the first figure is in red the second in black..so is the first figuer for the horse to be placed or unplaced..thanx for your help

The 1st figure (red with a minus in front of it) is how much you will lose if the horse is placed, the 2nd figure is how much you will win if the horse is unplaced.
When laying in the place market remember to check how many placed are being paid out. I am sure you know that Betfair my pay out more places than the bookies. You can check this on the rules tab on the BF website.
