I'm struggling to get any real rhythm going today ahead of the Guineas

Front 3 in the betting of the Guineas all traded below 1.50 in-running

I'm not that far from Newmarket and it's been pissing down since I got up, a couple of hours ago.

Newmarket's been good but I'm getting hammered elsewhere.

That long straight at the finish at Newmarket slightly up hill and in the rain. Good day today

much more swingy than the australian races, shouldnt the high turnover mean more stable prices?

That's exactly why I got hammered at Lingfield - I have to learn to trade UK all over again!

I think the volatility of markets isn't just down to volume, a market with twice as much volume but ten times the number of people ready to jump in can make a market volatile, whereas a low liquid market with few people interested can be relatively stable.

I'm running pretty high on the day, 13 out of 16 trades, i'm now at a point where I'm scared of giving back so it may be time to chuck the towel in, although Peter's recent Dice/Coin tweet is looping in my mind telling me not to.

I remember peter shared a programme from the bbc a while ago on that topic and there was also a part about taxi drivers finishing early on a good day and driving around for hours looking for fares on a sunny day. Always stuck with me.

Some good old Daniel Kahneman wisdom.
