I think you will find that its down to blood group type. Research was already done in France and China. The results showed that if you have blood group A or A+ then you are much more likely to get a bad reaction, need hospital / oxygen and possibly die.

I hope you're wrong that the protests will produce a second spike. But I fear you're absolutely right.
They think Covid-19 is all over. I don't think it is. Unless there is a vast pool of unseen immunity out there, as soon as you allow people to interract the virus will jump from host to host exactly in line with the adjusted R number.
So the irony is these lovely, caring people are potentially killing others.
And thats not a flippant remark, I see an increasing lack of adherence to social distancing, day by day. Its even being supported by the supermarkets that are ditching their restrictions as fast as possible.
Imperial College said there will be lockdowns and spikes until a vaccine is found or we have herd immunity.
I can't really understand what I'm seeing at the moment.

I certainly don't think it will be significant enough, on its own, to spark a second spike. I am certain that one of two scenarios is true: either it will spread and people will die as a result or social distancing is completely unnecessary and we've been wasting our time.

David Lammy on Question Time this week enthusiastically encouraged people to protest but advised them to social distance as well!!! What a flipping dickhead!

In my view, it's irresponsible to protest at this time, but the government has set an example, that your own personal judgement and instinct takes precedence over official guidance!

There's a world of difference between doing what you felt was right for your family and protesting about a situation over 3,000 miles away in a country that you have no influence in! This is just the LL rent a mob jumping on a bandwagon for entertainment.

Agree, there is a world of difference. DC was lying about doing what's right for his family when he was really doing what he felt like, including a day out to Bernard Castle, and then had to lie about his reasons for doing that, whereas these idiots are genuine idiots who think they're doing the right thing and it's a cause they have to fight for.
