Expecting Barbies fox to get some late support in race 2 at the Valley off the quick 7 day back up.

Wow, pretty sure I saw Wu Gok trade at 1000 in that one at Rosehill, that must be super painful for those that pursue the strategy of "it can't win, lay at 1000 and pick up free money".

There's plenty of free money at Rosehill, £9K to be precise. ;)

i had a look at the recording, it hit 1000 very briefly but that was mainly due to crossmatching of the other 2 being backed, wu gok was barely a length behind at any point in the stretch run

Haven't traded Rocky today but terrible record there.
Was watching it and chuckled at the sheer madness of it.No touching with barge pole.Stuffed R4t at Eagle Farm.Knew I should have got out before and some big money came in and rooted me just as I was debating it (the old hold and hope strategy  ) :? Still managed my way out of it as best I could

Can 1000 be cross matched? Isn't the corollary of 1.01/ 101? Even two at 1.01 is 202.

I think above 101 generally that is real money, maybe I'm wrong.

Belmont/Ascot is often like that, lots of heavy backing in WA for some reason

1.01 is about 99% so youll get an overround of 198%

if there is back bet in the market on one runner at evens and anyone wants to back another runners at less than evens with noone to match him he will be cross match with all other lay bets in the market no matter the price up to 1000

Thanks for the explanation - I'll have to sit down with a pen and pad to get it into my brain and see how it would work in practice.
