Hope someone can help me.
Is there a way I can use automation to cut a position within a nominated time frame i.e:
I place a back bet 5 secs before the off and put an offset with greening rule in X% lower.
If, however, that offset price hasn't been reached after X seconds of the race going in play (which will vary from race to race), all positions are hedged and the original offset is removed.
Many thanks

Close automation within timeframe
You could set a signal with your back bet rule
Then add a 'Signal changed condition' to a close trade on selection with greening rule
and set this time to whatever you want it to trigger after
If you want different times for different races you could add multiple close trade rules with a 'race distance' condition/s
Ie, the first one could use between 30 and 31secs for its signal changed condition
and have 2 x race distance conditions
greater than 6f
less than 9f
The second one could use between 45 and 46secs for its signal changed condition
and have 2 x race distance conditions
greater than 9f
less than 12f
and so on

You can use a 'Green All Selections' rule, and Rule Trigger set relative to in-play time, Arm trigger 'n' seconds after event goes in-play.iambic_pentameter wrote: ↑Wed Jun 17, 2020 7:30 pmHope someone can help me.
